Knitting Countdown!

I only have one item that I am knitting for a gift this year. This scarf has been on the needles since 2007 and was supposed to be a Christmas gift that year!

I have 140 rows left, this equals 10 per day. At this point I want it cast off by Xmas, not necessarily completed and blocked with all ends woven in, but that would be nice it if was completed before Xmas.

Morderne Log Cabin Blanket for a co-worker who's girlfriend is due in February. I have 414 rows left, this equals 52 rows per week or 7 rows per day.

You can do it! Won't it be nice to have two long standing projects off the needles? The colours in the scarf look very nice!

Fingers crossed for the scarf ;)

I love the moderne blanket, I made one a while back and really got into the rhythm of it, so I'm sure you can get it done in time

Breaking it down into the number of daily rows is a good idea. Things don't feel overwhelming that way. The colours on the scarf are fabulous. I'm sure I have a WIP or two from then, too.
