I am working on two beaded shawls for the
2011 Summer Bead-A-Long. Check back Saturday for an update!
I've been spinning a lot. What's left attached to the spindle is approximately half of the roving. The other half weighs in at 2.08 oz and it was 4 oz to start! I'm planning on spinning half, removing it from the spindle then spinning the other half separately and plying them together.

Looks like fun. I wish I could spin like that!

I wonder what that spun yarn will look like knit up - the colours are soo neat!
Love the colors of the spun yarn. I have been wanting to learn how to spin on a spindle, but can't decide which one would be easiest for a beginner.
Gorgeous!!! And, I'm so sorry I'm just noticing you opened up an Etsy shop! Congrats! Your yarn is beautiful. :)
I adore that green! Can't wait to see it becoming a fully grown shawl :o)
