Random ... with frogs!

Here's a random post of things going on this week.

I saw this cat bed at Wal-Mart, you might not be able to see from the angle of this photo, but it so reminded me of an old couch with the buttons in it, which apparently is a Queen Anne's Sofa.

We knew Smoochie aka Willow would steal it as her own, because she is boss of the house. She did.

After the storm this weekend we had some water in the basement. Our bedroom is down there, but in the half of the house that is only half foundation and half above ground, but still it sometimes smells like a basement. I was on the phone with my friend and said, I should go turn on the dehumidifier downstairs so that I don't have to sleep in a swamp. And this is what I found at the foot of the bed ...

Apparently we are overrun with frogs here.

This little guy was on my window so I let him in. We're wondering if this is the elusive frog-bird. We thought there was a bird making noise in the yard for a year .. . finally figured out it may be a frog, I researched online and found the sound was coming from a frog.

Yup, its this guy. I did let him back outside after taking a photo ... wanted to see if it was the same frog.

I am knitting on the Baby Surprise Jacket for a friend ... going along well.

I finally found what is the closest to the perfect Tardis blue for the Tardis socks .. then thought oh no. This yarn is a clear 2-ply ... what am I going to use for the black and white??? Well I had some Louet in my stash and some Little Traveler from Sanguine Gryphon in my stash and those are also a 2-ply ... yay!!!

Such cute frogs! My future-ish MIL has a cat bed like that - their teacup yorkie stole it, though, so now it's an itty bitty doggie bed. :P

Frogs is kewl! But yeah, maybe not in the bedroom. Don't want to wake up with a frog perched on your nose. How are they getting along with the boss of the house?

Corresponding two ply in the stash? Now that IS lucky!

The cat bed is a bit more of a furniture statement than this household is ready for, I'm afraid. Our Zuzu will have to do without.

I organize my knitting queue regularly. I delete the patterns that I'm not likely to knit soon. That keeps it down to a page.
