Summer Mystery Shawl by Wendy D. Johnson. I am so very far behind, but there is progress here from last Wednesday. This weekend on the plane I completed a chart repeat. That's about all the knitting I got done on my trip though!

Close up of the lace pattern. I really love this shawl, its fun to knit and the lace pattern is beautiful. Can't wait to see it blocked.

Entomology from Knitty. This is for the Summer Bead A Long I am hosting. Yarn is Knit Picks Stroll Tonal in Pearlescent and the beads are from Earth Faire. More about this shawl coming up for the weekly BAL post! Wanna bead?? Check out the Summer Bead-A-Long!

The mystery shawl is looking lovely - great colour. I bet it'll be stunning once it's blocked if the lace is already looking that good!

I've just finished mine and I love it. Fell behind too and it was hard not to look at all the completed projects. The colour you have chosen is gorgeous x

Ooh I must try a bottom-up shawl one day. Yours looks like fun.

I love to see your progress on the mystery shawl - it's a lovely-looking pattern so far :-)

The shawl is beautiful! I haven't tried a bottom-up one like that, but it would be nice (for once!) to have my stitch count get smaller as the project goes by :-)

I read Wendy J's blog and it constantly amazes me not just how beautiful her designs are, but how fast she creates the design and knits it up.

Love the shawl! I never seem to get as much knitting done on vacation as I think I'm going to either. At least you got a whole chart repeat completed!

I'm jealous of your Stroll yarn. I was wavering between this colorway and Thunderhead and ended up getting the darker because I plan to make a skirt. I thought the light would get too dirty.

I haven't had a chance to start either of my KALs! But I will be beading this weekend!
