Life is moving. We have more sunlight and warmer temperatures! There is light at the end of the tunnel!
I picked my next spin. Its a merino/nylon roving that I dyed. Here is it pre-pre-drafted.
Here is some of it pre-drafted.
And here is the beginning of it spun.
I also made a recent purchase from Three Waters Farm. I was surprised at the packaging, usually roving comes in a large envelope.
Its just as lovely as I expected, if not moreso.
I'm not one for the long winded goodbye posts. The podcast has been delayed until next week because my faithful companion departed us this past Friday. She was a ripe old age, so it was mixed blessings, but it still breaks my heart. Here she is a few years ago when she was still full of life, my beloved Kenya.
Please give your furry kids extra love today and always, they don't live long enough, but they make such a difference in our lives!

I'm so sorry to hear about your furry friend. I know we'll be going through the same thing with Mopar soon, and it's never easy.
Sorry to hear about your furry friend it is always hard to lose a faithful companion!
I'm so sorry you've lost Kenya. You are right, our lovely little and not so little furry childerbeasts do make a difference in our lives. They help make our lives whole.
My condolences on your lost. Zuzu is getting some extra treats in her memory.
That silver/purple roving is sooo you! Looks lovely.
The yarn you're spinning is beautiful. I'm so sorry for your loss. It isn't fair that our fur kids have such short life spans when they give us so much love.
Those are some yummy colors you're spinning.
I'm with you on no long goodbyes...sorry for your loss of Kenya. I still miss my cat that I lost...gosh, almost 15 years ago. Unfortunately the hubby is deathly allergic so I can't have another furry friend!
Sorry for your loss of Kenya, and I completely agree with you about pets. I gave my cat some extra scruffles.
I love the colors you've shared!
So sorry about Kenya! :( Hang in there!
Sorry for your loss. They become such a part of us, it's hard to let them go.
I am in awe of those who can spin - I don't think I'd have the coordination for it
