A Knitter for All Seasons - 3KCBWDAY4
I often find frustration with this topic because I am always late. Who wants to knit a wool sweater in the summer though? I often find my WIPs languishing for a season or two until I pick them up again. I will start something season appropriate, only to find that I don't have enough time to finish it and then want to move on to different things that are appropriate to the current season. It took me a few years to knit a sweater because of this phenomenon.
I think I will get better at this and start that sweater in July ... but no ...

Knitting Hero - 3KCBWDAY3
If I had to think of someone who inspires and who's designs I love quickly - Wendy Johnson would come to mind. Her free Toe Up Socks with a Difference is my go to sock pattern.
I have knit her shawls and LOVE them.
She comes up with so many wonderful designs. I don't have all of her books, but I am sure one day I will.

Colors - 3KCBWDAY1
Its time for Knitting and Crochet Blog Week again ... and I almost missed it (well I am a day behind), LOL!!
The topic for today is Colors. I think I am a fairly rounded out person when it comes to colors. As I look through my stash I see a lot of colors, but can't quite put my finger on a theme. I know purple and green are some of my favorite colors, but I also see yellow, blue, brown, black, red, orange, pink, teal .. shall I continue? LOL!
I guess if I had to put my finger on it I would say I lean towards jewel tones, deep, dark, rich colors as opposed to primary or pastel.
Can you pick out a particular color that is in abundance (besides purple :o)?

My Angora Bunny!
Saturday we met with a breeder and put a deposit down on an English Angora bunny. He's not old enough to go home yet.

He is so sweet and such a snuggler!

He is a Harlequin. White is better for spinning because you can dye it any color, but he really is a pet first and fiber producer second and I love his colors!

Angora Rabbit Spinning
No we're not spinning a bunny ... well kind of ...
At the monthly meeting of my local Knitters Guild a woman came with an angora bunny. She showed us the bunny and how she spins. She explained some details about keeping and breeding the bunnies as well. I so want one. We have "regular" bunnies as pets. After I showed my husband some angora yarn and the pics of the bunny, he replied, hey what's one more???
Valentine is a very large German Albino Angora bunny.

She is very compliant in being plucked.

Her fur is so soft and luscious!

How appropriate for the coming holiday of Easter?
